Inkjet transfers, acrylic, tea and ink on cotton. It’s rather large- 3 feet by 2 feet. I had so much fun making this piece.

This was made using a machine embroidery technique called Bobbin Embroidery. Yarn is wrapped around the bobbin and the work is embroidered from the back side. The piece is finished with velvet leaves, a shimmery nylon flower and yarn stamen.…
